In short: Signal reads the Instagram numbers you choose to share, shows them to you, and keeps only what it needs to do that. We never sell your data. You can disconnect and delete everything in one click on the Connect page, or by writing to hello@pixories.com.
1. Who we are
Pixories Signal (“Signal”, “we”, “us”) is a product of Pixories Inc., a Delaware corporation (file number 6294937), 2055 Limestone Rd, Ste 200-C, Wilmington, DE 19808, USA. Pixories Inc. is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@pixories.com.
This policy covers the website signal.pixories.com, the beta sign-up, and the Instagram connection (“Connect Instagram”).
2. What we collect
When you join the beta list
- Your email address and your answer to “Who edits your videos?”.
- The date, the country your connection comes from, and the page that sent you to us.
When you connect Instagram
You connect through Facebook Login, on Facebook, where you choose which Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts to share. Signal then receives:

Signal reads counts and totals. It doesn't read the text of comments or your messages, and it can't post, comment or send messages on your behalf. We don't receive your Facebook or Instagram password.
If you turn on the optional beta report for an account, Signal also reads that account's full reel history, not only the recent ones: each reel's video file, caption and insights, and the usernames of any collaborator accounts on your reels.
Automatically
- Cookies. Signal uses two strictly necessary cookies: a random session identifier that keeps you connected (it expires with your connection, at most about 60 days) and a one-time security code that protects the Facebook sign-in step (10 minutes). We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
- Abuse prevention. To stop abuse, we count requests per IP address for up to 20 minutes. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes standard technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site.
3. How we use it
- To show you your reels and their insights, and to calculate summaries for your own account, such as your typical views and watch time and which reels held attention longest.
- To keep your connection secure and working, and to prevent abuse.
- To send beta access and news about Signal to the email you gave us. Every email lets you unsubscribe.
- If you turn on the beta report for an account, to let Daniel Alonso, founder of Signal, review that account's reels and prepare your beta report. See Beta reports below.
- To comply with the law and with Meta's Platform Terms, including deletion requests.
We never sell or rent your data, and we don't use it for advertising. We don't use your data to contact your clients or to offer them services. Pixories' video studio has no access to your Signal account or its data.
4. Learning across accounts is opt-in
Signal can learn what works across many accounts, but only with accounts that opt in. If you opt in, we use your data only in aggregated, de-identified form: combined with other accounts and without your username, captions, images or anything else that could identify you or your content. You can opt out at any time, and from then on your data is used only for your own account. Until you opt in, your data is used only to show you your own results.
5. Beta reports (optional)
The beta report is an optional, per-account feature: you turn it on or off for each Instagram account on the Connect page.
- When it's on, Signal reads that account's full reel history, not only the recent ones: each reel's video file, caption and insights, and the usernames of any collaborator accounts on your reels.
- Signal copies each reel's video to analyze it: what's said (transcript), on-screen text, cuts, pacing, light and motion. It combines that with your numbers to find what works for your account.
- Daniel Alonso, founder of Signal, reviews the results, prepares your beta report and may walk you through it on a call.
- This runs on a Pixories computer with an encrypted disk. Your videos aren't uploaded to cloud storage or sent to other AI companies.
- Video copies are deleted right after the analysis. The measurements and numbers are kept while the beta report is on and you stay connected.
- If you turn the beta report off, disconnect, or ask Meta to delete your data, Signal deletes what's on its servers right away and the copies on its computer within 7 days.
This is separate from Pixories' video production studio, which has no access to your Signal account or its data — the beta report is prepared by Signal.
6. Where your data is stored and how we protect it
- Signal runs on Cloudflare, our hosting and storage provider. Data is stored and processed in Cloudflare's network, including in the United States.
- Your Instagram access token is encrypted with AES-256-GCM, used only by our servers, and never sent to your browser.
- Your session cookie is random, marked HttpOnly and Secure, and can't be read by scripts on the page.
- Access to stored data is limited to the people who run Signal's systems, and only to operate the service or when the law requires it.
7. How long we keep it

8. Who we share it with
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the data described above.
- Resend delivers an email notice to our team when someone joins the beta list. It receives only the sign-up details.
- Meta is the source of your Instagram data. Your use of Facebook and Instagram is governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it.
- A successor, if Pixories Inc. is involved in a merger or acquisition, under the protections of this policy.
Our service providers may use the data only to provide their services to us. We don't send your Instagram data to any other company.
9. Your choices and rights
- Disconnect and delete: on the Connect page, “Disconnect and delete my data” deletes your access token and everything Signal stored for your connection, right away.
- Remove the app in Facebook: Settings & privacy › Settings › Business integrations. Facebook notifies us and we delete your data automatically.
- Write to us: hello@pixories.com to access, correct or delete your data, or with any question. We reply within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, including the European Union, the United Kingdom and California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, to object to its use, and to withdraw consent. We process your Instagram data because you asked us to (to provide the service you requested) and with your consent, which you can withdraw by disconnecting. We process security data based on our legitimate interest in keeping Signal safe. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. California residents: we don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

10. Meta Platform Terms
Signal's use of data received from Meta follows the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We delete that data when you ask, when you remove the app, when it's no longer needed to provide Signal, or when Meta requires it.
11. Children
Signal is built for professional Instagram accounts and is not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has used Signal, write to us and we'll delete the data.
12. Changes
We'll post any change here with a new date. If a change affects how we use Instagram data, we'll tell connected users on the Connect page before it applies.
